A veteran team of the event, the Northern Ireland team is known for their signature shot glasses they gift to every opposing teams players and a great demeanor with friendly manners, but mostly for the shot glasses..
Led by James Johnston, the Northern Irland team is one of the most friendly teams in the event. They are there to have a good time and to make sure everyone of their opponent share their happiness as well.
Attending the event for at least 10 years now, they are a familiar sight in the tournament. Their captain is voted in by team n.i players. Rest of team is picked on basis of our ranking system with one spot left open as a wild card pick usually
And if you actually ask them of their aspirations of the WTC, they will answer with ” Good craic and plenty of drink!”
